Zoë completed her BSc in Geological Sciences at the University of Leeds where she was on the Year in Industry Scheme and undertook her placement at Getech working on Palaeogeographic mapping of Eastern Canada. Her undergraduate dissertation focussed on the syn-tectonic deltaic deposits of the Megara Basin, Gulf of Corinth Greece. Zoë went on to study Petroleum Geoscience MSc at Imperial College London (sponsored by Statoil, UK). Her master's thesis focussed on reservoir heterogeneity within the Connemara discovery, offshore western Ireland. At present Zoë is about to go into her second year of her NERC CDT Oil and Gas sponsored PhD at the University of Manchester. Her project is entitled 'Discerning halokinetic from autocyclic sequences in deep-marine sedimentary systems' and integrates outcrop examples from the Basque Country and subsurface examples from the eastern Central Graben, UK North Sea.
